Spiderman No Way Home - Spoiler Free Review

by Ismael Bustelo

Spiderman No Way Home picks up moments after the ending of the previous film, Spiderman Far From Home. Having to deal with the fact that his identity has been revealed, Peter Parker and his friends are in for a rude awakening.

While the film does suffer from a very mediocre first act that only serves to set up the plot, it succeeds in creating actual stakes (something that many superhero films lack). Spiderman No Way Home is a love letter to Spiderman fans. As the third installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spiderman franchise, the film is able to effectively incorporate fan service, good acting and impressive character arcs. During the movie, we see Tom Holland’s Peter Parker fight the toughest battle we have ever seen him face. His co-stars as well as the film's multiple antagonists bring Peter Parker’s journey to great heights with the way they push the story forward. Willlem Dafoe’s acting is outstanding and Tom Holland takes the character to a new level.

The film ultimately leaves the Spiderman franchise in an interesting territory that will be wonderful to see unfold in future films. Spiderman No Way Home is an event that should not be missed. This movie is a must see.
